How we build and verify the catalog
Supplier directories are often full of dead links and middlemen. Here is how we approach it, including what we cannot promise.
How companies get in
Listings come from three sources: AI-assisted research of public company websites, suppliers who add themselves, and our own team. Every listing shows who controls it.
AI research must read the company's own website before a listing is created. We then check by software that the site really responds. Companies that are not clearly a match go to a person for review instead of going live. Marketplaces and other directories are excluded.
AI can still get things wrong. If you spot a mistake, use the report link on any profile and we will look into it. Companies can ask us to correct or remove their listing at any time.
What the Trust Score measures
The score runs from 0 to 100 and counts how many checks a company passes. Every check is listed on its profile.
| Signal | Points |
|---|---|
| Owner verified control of this business | 25 |
| Company website is online | 15 |
| Website checked in the last 60 days | 10 |
| Website uses HTTPS | 5 |
| Business email on the company domain | 10 |
| Published phone number | 5 |
| Published street address | 10 |
| Years in business: 5 points for 3 years, 10 points for 10 years | 10 |
| Lists a recognized certification | 10 |
What it does not mean
A high score is not a guarantee, an endorsement or a measure of product quality, and a low score is not an accusation: many honest companies simply publish less. Certifications and details are usually as stated by the company, and we do not audit them. Always do your own checks before you pay a supplier.
What paying changes
Premium suppliers appear above basic listings and are labeled "Featured". Payment does not add Trust Score points. Links to paid listings are marked as sponsored.
